Strategic intake & pre-work

Review your current strategy, constraints, and unresolved decisions to surface where assumptions, incentives, and reality have quietly drifted out of alignment.

90-minute live Relevancy Audit

We pressure-test your positioning live. Not to validate what you believe. To surface where your leadership team actually disagrees and force the calls beneath the surface.

Decision brief & alignment artifact

A concise written record of the strategic position, explicit trade-offs and near-term actions your team can reference with confidence when decisions are tested.

What you leave with

  • A single, defensible strategic position your leadership can stand behind
  • Clear calls on what to defend, change, or stop immediately
  • Explicit trade-offs your team can reference when decisions get tested
  • A decision brief you can execute against without re-litigating strategy

The average Series B company burns $2M+ per quarter on headcount alone. If even 20% of that effort points at the wrong priorities, you're writing six-figure checks to execute a strategy the market has already moved past.

One misaligned quarter costs more than this audit ever will.

Pricing FAQ

Direct answers to the questions people ask right before they book.

How is this different from a brand agency audit?
Brand agencies audit to win a retainer. They're looking for scope they can own. We audit with no subsequent scope — the deliverable is the product. You take the report and act on it however you want, including working with your existing agency. Most clients say the Repositioning Brief gives their agency a sharper brief than anything they've written internally.
Our agency already does strategy. Why would we need an audit?
Your agency has a conflict: finding problems creates scope that benefits them. We have no stake in what you do next. An independent, scored diagnosis is a different tool than strategic recommendation from someone selling implementation. Clients often use the audit to evaluate whether their current strategy is actually working.
What does "external data pass" mean exactly?
We don't ask you for internal analytics. We start with what's publicly available: your Ads Library creative, G2/Trustpilot/App Store reviews from the past 12 months, LinkedIn job posting signals, your website and landing page messaging. Then we compare what you're saying to what your customers are saying, and score the gaps. Most audits find at least 2 dimensions where the external evidence contradicts internal assumptions.
What if our score is low — is that bad?
Low scores mean high-value gaps. The Pilot tier is explicitly for testing whether we find something meaningful in one dimension before you invest in the full audit. If the Pilot comes back with a score of 4-5 on a dimension, we'll tell you — that's a good outcome, not a failed audit. Most brands with rising CAC or flat conversion rate have at least 2 dimensions below 3.
Can we share the findings internally?
Yes. The report is yours. No confidentiality restrictions on internal use. We ask that you don't publish the specific scoring methodology or framework without attribution — but using the findings to brief your team, your agency, or your board is exactly what the report is for.
What's the engagement process from here?
Book a 30-minute discovery call. We'll confirm that an audit is the right fit, scope the engagement, and send a statement of work within 24 hours of the call. Most audits kick off within 1 week of signed agreement.
We're pre-Series B. Is this for us?
The audit is designed for brands with at least 18 months of market data — enough signal to score against. Pre-Series B brands (< $20M raised or < 18 months of acquisition data) usually don't have enough baseline to make the scoring meaningful. If that's you, the free scorecard is a better starting point — it'll tell you which dimension to focus on as you grow.
